About Bomi Johnson
Bomi is a professional flautist and pianist based in Brooklyn. She has performed with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, Greenwich Village Orchestra, and Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, as well as the Carleton College Symphony Orchestra and the Phoenix Youth Symphony.
Bomi has been playing piano for 25 years, and flute for almost 20. Locally, she plays as the current principal flautist of the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra, and additionally plays with the Greenwich Village Orchestra, and the Park Avenue Chamber Symphony. She has previously played with the Carleton College Symphony Orchestra and the Phoenix Youth Symphony, as well as Interlochen's WYSO. She is the winner of the Phoenix Symphony Concerto Competition. She loves teaching both adults and children!
