James Griffis

Raised in NY's Hudson Vally Region, Jim has been playing the Trombone since he was 10. He began his studies in Piano as an undergraduate in College. For over 30 years Jim has been a band director at elementary, middle, hiigh school and college levels. Jim's greatest teaching strengths are wind instruments. Competent in both Brass, Single reed playing, and Piano Jim has taught individual and group lessons to a variety of K-16 students. Jim performs along Denver's Front Range.
